This is the first job I have with this publisher. They have done a lot of Japanese teaching books and most of them look like boring textbooks. They want something more inviting and that’s my job.
I had fun with this job and the best thing was that they like it and already assigned me another 4 projects. yeah ! ^-^

Above is one of the books she brought back. It’s a cute little book teaching you how to draw. The book begins from a basic steps like how to work with lines; curves in different directions can produce different effects or different positions of dots on faces can make different feelings. It also teaches how to draw human figures, perspectives or even lights and shadows. All the teaching represented with cute illustrations by umoto sachiko

Today is the beginning of Songkran festival which we Thai people consider it as ancient Thai New Year. The days could be called water days as people splash water to others with a bowl of water or water gun. It is also counted as Family Day when people goes back home to get together with his or her family. It’s the longest vacation and the most waited one of the year.
Above are car toys for water splashing bought from Swensens for my two little nieces. The colors are so cute and inviting that I just want to keep them myself!
